San Nicolo’ brings his bags filled with coffee seeds: come taste the game
Words, colours, smells, flavours!
The third Coffee Rendezvous took place in Dicember and was dedicated the children feast of San Nicolò. Even parents have had their fun in learning aspects of tasting an Espresso coffee that not everyone is aware of.
It goes without saying that coffee must be looked at, smelled, touched, listened to (where possible) and eventually tasted. Food & Drink industry is changing and consumers are expecting to be offered high standards more than ever; we are always on the hunt for products that are capable to take us to exotic destinations and the modern customers are often as skilled and experienced as the one offering them the most exotic and, at the same time, national of drinks: coffee. It does give an emotional sensory experience and the latest research has indeed confirmed that drinking a certain amount of cups can even benefit our skin.
At the Rendezvous, the youngsters have had their moments drawing on “stained paper”, then turning it around and see something completely different on it. As their fantasy was stimulated by the work of Bruno Munari (hence the “Mini-Mu”) some lines were also read out from the book “Storia di una caffettiera” (Story of a Coffemaker) by Riccardo Pazzaglia.
