The colours of coffee
“The colours of coffee”: it might sound like a simple claim, trivial perhaps. But it has good reasons to be investigated further, and the Associazione Museo del Caffè of Triest has gioven us the opportunity to do so, last Thursady, in the San Giusto hall at Savoia Excelsior Palace, Riva del Mandracchio 4.
As part of the cycle “Coffeee: this famous unknown” (so true, as we all love the drink but know very little about it) Professor Sonia Calligaris of the University of Udine spoke about the colours of coffee, and took us in an interesting trip that started from an harbour on the other side of the world, to the roasting here in our city and ending in a cup, thus witnessing the many colours coffee beans are taking on.
This was the first-last meeting of our seasonal Rendezvous. Next one will be taking place on the 16th of May.
